Festival Jury members included John Dahl, director of You Kill Me; Bijan Tehrani from Cinema Without Borders; Rebecca Winters Keegan from “Time” magazine; Kimberly Yutani, short film programmer for the Sundance Film Festival; and Amotz Zakai from Echo Lake Entertainment.
“We are proud to be able to support the international film community by covering stories about filmmakers and movies from around the world” says Dr. Mehdi Hatamian, co-founder of Dragon Tale Entertainment and publisher of “Cinema Without Borders”. He adds, “Now by giving an award to the Best International Film at the Palm Springs ShortFest, we have taken another step towards our goals. Soon, you will hear more about our participation in international film events.”
