The good news is that Ms. Nargess Samadi, Festival Reporter and Reviwer of Cinema Without Borders, will cover the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival — taking place from February 12 to March 3 — with daily reports.

he festival’s professional and industry activities, European Film Market / EFM (Feb. 12–18, 2026 – with the kickoff on the afternoon of February 11), the Berlinale Co-Production Market(Feb. 14-17, 2026), Berlinale Talents (Feb. 13–18, 2026) and the World Cinema Fund Day (Feb. 17, 2026) will once again take place under the banner of Berlinale Pro. “After the great success of this year’s anniversary edition, we are now starting to plan for 2026. We look forward to once again celebrating cinema with the film industry and audiences and to being a platform for the global film industry,” says Berlinale Director Tricia Tuttle.

Narges Samadi

Narges Samadi, born in Iran, is a former emergency physician with over twenty years of experience in Tehran. Following her immigration to Canada, she transitioned into the field of cinema studies, culminating in her recent graduation from the Cinema Studies specialist program at the University of Toronto. Currently, she is the founder of “Narges Cinema House” in Toronto, which serves as a venue for film screenings, education in film history, and the production of critical writings.
