The film is an intimate look at the workers lives, charting their experiences with racism, immigration control and the struggle for personal betterment in a fiercely competitive world economy. This 87-minute piece, was shot on location in New York’s Hudson Valley and on the Island of Jamaica over the last five years. The film features an original score and candid commentary from not only the workers, but also public servants including Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, and Governor George Pataki of NY.
