“Niloofar” a film by Sabin El Gamyel, will participate in Los Angeles Third Annual Noor Film Festival. Nilufar screening is schaduled for Saturday, May 2nd at 8:45 pm Fine Arts Theater.
Shot entirely in Iran in 2007, Niloofar poetically focuses on a young Iraqi girl just entering puberty. This new phase in her life marks her entry into the circle of women, which brings with it new cultural obligations that leave little room for her own personal quest.
