Scandinavian Film Festival, Los Angeles was opened on Saturday and will continue over the next weekend. In the last two days of the festival 11 films from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland will be screened.Saturday January 16

Bita Elahian, is an Iranian-Americans filmmaker and producer, who is currently living in Los Angeles, CA. She is studying filmmaking at NewYork Academy(NYFA). Ms Elahian has received several awards in US and throughout the world for her exceptional directing in drama films. Currently, she is a member of New York Women in Film and Television and Women in Film LA. Elahian has also previously received an award for the Best Director position from the International Women Theatre in Iran.
