Samuel Goldwyn Films has secured the North American rights to the controversial coming-of-age sexual drama ‘Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story).’ The film premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival last year, marking the debut of French filmmaker Eva Husson.
“Set in the Atlantic coast town of Biarritz, France, the film explores teenage sexuality in the age of social media and follows a group of bored teenagers who pass the time with numerous distractions, among them what amounts to ad hoc sex parties.” – Deadline
Produced by Didar Domehri, Laurent Baudens, and Gael Nouaille, written and directed by Eva Husson, and starring Finnegan Oldfield, Marilyn Lima, Daisy Broom, Fred Hotier, and Lorenzo Lefebvre, ‘Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story)’ is slated for a limited theatrical release in late spring. The deal negotiated by Peter Goldwyn’s on behalf of Samuel Goldwyn Films and by Nicolas Brigaud-Robert for Films Distribution.
