In 2021 Golden Globe Awards a few international artists won major awards of this prestigious event. Chinese born Chloe Zhao and her film “Nomadland” and the British artist, Sacha Baron Cohen and his film “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” each won two top movie honors. Chloe Zhao won Best Director Motion Picture for “Nomadland” and her film won Best Picture Drama.

Lee Isaac Chung, an American filmmaker born in a South Korean immigrant family received Best Foreign Language Award for his film Minari. At Cinema Without Border we strongly believe that Golden Globe should follow the right decision by Academy Awards and awards an international film and not like this case a US film in another ;language than English. Also it’s a surprise that at the presence of an amazing film, Another Round, a film that never lifts itself up even to the level of the other nominees wins the award,
